How Can I Generate Leads For My Home Business?

Before generating leads it sounds like you need to set up a few things... meaning, are you ready to take a client?

It sounds like you don't need any outside investment to get going, so you don't need a full-up business plan, but you should have a little something written down that solidifies for yourself at least what services you can provide a client and how much they charge. Then make sure that when you take a client, you have a method of explaining clearly to them your service and how much you charge. Finally, make sure you have a method to bill them promptly! Lots of new business owners are a little shy about taking this step.

Once you're ready for business, a good place to look for clients or to network is your local chamber of commerce. A chamber is typically a great place to network with people in complementary industries (like real estate agents perhaps?) who can refer people to you and vice versa.

You can use video for a lead generation. It is very effective way to attract new customers for home business. Just create a great business video and promote it in all possible ways (post it on social media, blogs, websites, etc.). Do not forget to include a Call-To-Action in the end of the video!

Since both of these require State Licenses in all 50 states and DC, you may not be legally qualified to help anyone, but that never stopped me, so why would it stop anyone else who "thinks they can."

Local ads for Mentoring would work but you will have to design a response to them and a business approach for their problems or you fail immediately.

Locally, is a direct sales job, are you up for that?

Remotely or Nationally, it's a regular sales job that is already overcrowded with few returns for almost anyone.

As a financial broker with PFA I can attest to that, but maybe you have a different approach that will work online.

Since I am only willing to deal on multi million dollar commercial deals, I may not be qualified to judge the efforts of someone else that is fresh and new, they almost always find ways to do thing that us old folks can't see.

Build a site around the things people Want, not the things people actually need, but the things they want, and advertise for those people, only.

If you model your site around attractive sites you've searched, you may be able to develope some business that way.

Or, you can do like I do, do line ads where you can find a place to post them.

Just remember, advertising will bring in a visitor or two with todays economy, but it will take lots of visitors to make any real difference unless you have a really unique product or idea.

Also, watch out buying a business that someone else is selling. They''ll make out, but will you.

However, while you're building your cash flow you most definitely should begin a proactive networking process. Best source of leads for your type of business is through networking with other local business people.

Many small business owners make the mistake of relying too heavily on just 1 or 2 sources of leads. The problem with that approach, is that if one of those lead sources slows down or stops delivering, you are in BIG trouble! It’s far better to develop a wide spread of inbound, sales lead opportunities. Generating the best MLM leads is a process that won’t happen over night. But it will happen. Pick one or two lead generating avenues and master those. Then, when you are ready add one more and repeat.
