Does anyone have advice on how to do well on an AP US Government test?
My AP Government test is on Monday, and I am so freaking nervous. Has anyone reading this ever taken the Government test, if you could tell me any sort of studying techniques, I will love you forever! I am so nervous, it has been five months since I was in the class because I had it first semester. If anyone can give me any advice, please do.

Hah I'm taking that too, I'm sooo scared about it. What makes it even better is I have SAT's two days before that.
I'm not sure about the spot where you're taking the test, but for us they said this to us:
-We have 25 minutes for each free response, but they won't tell you when to move on, so you have to keep track yourself. So bring a clock.
-It's like the SAT grading, where unanswered answers won't count for or against you, etc.
-Get a good night sleep the night before, etc.
-Get the Barron's test booklet, they sell it in any bookstore. And the Princeton Review one too if you feel like it.
-You can't b.s. the free responses either. But you can bullet point the answers if you run out of time.
-Look over the vocab.
-It might help to know the Supreme Court Justices, the present day main congress members, and some exampes of interest groups.
Just look over all of the sections in the book. They tend to ask more questins about the Congress chapter; it's the biggest section in our book.
My teacher also said to know the stated and unstated powers of the President/Congress.

Well, the AP Government class normally has 2 semesters, but i guess you went through it faster. I have the test on Monday too, so here's what I'm doing:
1) Freaking out
2) Taking a crapload of practice tests out of AP books
3) Getting the answer key
3a) Going over the test
3b) REVIEWING THE CORRECT ANSWERS AND LEARNING THEM/ READING THE MATERIAL IN THE BOOK (for the ones i got wrong). This is the most important part! Every practice test is basically the same, because all they can do is ask about sections that the book has. If you read over each section in the book, take notes, read over your notes, and take notes again, you will ACE THE EXAM!! (i hope)

I am taking it tomorrow too and i am freaking out! But theirs going to be a really helpful reveiw session online at http://560wind.townhall.com/ at 9-11 tonight. Just click listen live. Another helpful source is CBS 2 School. Their are great videos for AP Gov students. it is a really easy way to study. Good luck
