So I was shopping earlier and I hit another car with my door in the parking lot when I tried to get into the car. But i didnt leave a note right away because I used controlled force with the door and I didn't think the scratch was anything major. I started to feel awful after i came home so I returned to the store hoping to exchange info with the other drive. However the other car was already gone so I left my phone number with the manager (he told me no one has made any inquiries about this yet) So how likely I will be in trouble for this? To be specific, how likely I will be accused of leaving the scene since I didn't leave a note right away. Will my second trip back to the store and leaving my name and number with manager help if law enforcement gets involved?( I live in Illinois) Please share your opinion. Thanks a lot.

Hi guys and gals. I was just wondering if there is any way I can improve my speaking skill to make my English sounds more fluent?

I am asking this because I am working on getting a degree in a US university and I just a got job on the campus which requires me to talk to people most of the time. The problem is I am a person who uses English as a second language. My reading and writing skills are actually OK. But i do think i need to improve my speaking skill. And I found that when I speak there a noticeable accent. (frankly a quite noticeable one)

So now i really want to improve my speaking skill. Please understand that I am not trying to trick people into thinking that I am original English speaker. I just don't want to them to have hard times when they are trying to understand what I am saying.

So thats basically what my problem is. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!

Hi all

I currently have 3 drives, the one that has my operating system is a WD green hard drive. I bought that nearly 4 years ago and its getting slower and slower.

I just order a new WD black drive which runs at 10000RPM. But how do i move my operating system from the green drive to black drive? I think copy and paste wont work, right?

And the operating system is vista home basic 32-bit. It came with the hard drive when i bought so i dont think i have any disks.

I currently have an AMD 940 quad core running at 3.45, and a ATI HD 5850.

Now i want to upgrade my computer, and i think it might cost me less money if i buy another 5850 and crossfire them.

So my question is will my current CPU be bottlenecking? Should I buy another one and which one should i buy?

And i heard that Intel might release some newer and better CPU soon, and Nvidia is about to release a more user friendly Fermi, so is it a good idea for me to upgrade right now?

I just found my blood donation card way back from high school. And I found my blood type is A positive on that card. Does it really mean I have HIV? But I am pretty sure I was not sexually active at that time, never used any needles from any place other than a hospital and neither of my parents have HIV. So if that "type A" means i have HIV, then how in the earth did I get the virus? if it does not mean i HIV, then what does it mean?

I am going to write a paper about education. And i am planning on start the paper with a quote from the Bible.

The central idea about my paper is that education doesn't just cost money, you also going to have to sacrifice something, such as culture identity, personal interest, time and other things.

So i was wondering if there is any story in the Bible is related to this?

Such as a follower of Christ gave up his/her personal life to travel with Christ, and learn from him.

And i will also appreciate your personal opinion.

hi guys. Yesterday I joined a game i now think was hosted by some of hackers. Because i got leveled up from 54 to 70 in like one minute and got kicked out of the game with no clude what hell happened. Then i tried to join another game but everytime i kill someone in the game I get kicked out right away. So i cant really play the game anymore.

Any one has the same problem?? Does anybody know who should i contact?

so i want to upgrade my video and motherboard so i can play Arm Assault 2.

i konw the 8800gts i have is not a very bad card but i have heard that Nvidia cards do not work very good w/ AMD CPUs.

So, what card and motherboad should i get??

Hi everybody

I got this friend, and he is kind of weird. Because we and some other friends have been talking about going to the prom next week. And he said he will go but he said he does not want to waste his money on the tux.And he said he will just wear jeans and t-shirt.

We are all really really mad at him, and be honest, if he really wear jeans we will all just pretend like we don't even know him and not talking to him. Off course, we don't really want that to happen.

So how can i convince him to wear something proper for the prom?

The situation is this:

I just asked this girl to go to our prom with me and i was so lucky she said yes!~

But the thing is we have not really talked to each other a lot. Because we are both very quiet persons. So we just barely know each other. But i can not really say we don't like each other since we have been starring at each other and making intense eye contacts in pe and in lunch and in liberty.

So is anything i should do before the prom so we can know each other a little better and making the prom night more fun for both of us?

I built it myself and it would be great if you can tell me its good or bad

And i am pretty sure that my 8800gt will work with my mobo, But are they going to work well with each other? Since one is nvidia and one is AMD?

And if i want to upgrade it later, what is the best/cost-effecient way to upgrade it?

Hi everybody

I bought this ASUS m2n-sli mother board from Newegg.com last year and it went bad last week. I checked ASUS's website and they said i have to contact the actual seller of the product to repair. But i bought it from Newegg.com and it was and open-box item, so i am not sure if Newegg is responsible to fix my mb?

So who should i contact? and if Newegg and ASUS don't want to help me then what should i do?

I was just playing games on my computer like usual, and then i just heard the fan went a little lounder for 2 seconds and then it just shut down by itself and i can not seem to turn it on again. I tried to push the start bottom but my computer just don't react at all. I thought it could be my power supply giving me trouble so i tool my power supply out and put another one in there but it still does not work.

So what is wrong with my computer and how do i fix it?

And please don't say anything like " try safe mode" because i can't even start the computer!

Hi everybody

this morning i pulled my 8800gt video card out and used a dust buster to clean it

after that, i putted the card back, and i am very sure all the cables and plugs are back in the right place.

so i started my computer, and then the monitor showed that welcome page with mother board's model on it. and then the monitor just went to black and says "no video in put" so i shut it down and started it again.

i have tried something like 30 times to start my pc and a few time i even got to the page where i can log on as a windows user and then the monitor went to black again.

And also i think the sound of my video card's fan does not sound very right. it is a lot louder than usual.

i used river tuner to change the fan speed of my video card to 60% yesterday. could that be the problem?
