Can I own an airsoft gun if I live in CA and if my mom has home daycare?
Look. Im a 14 year old kid and I really want an airsoft gun, but the problem is that my mom has home daycare with two year old kids and when people come in from her company or something, they ask if there are guns in the house. She responds as no and she is afraid that an airsoft gun is classified as a firearm and could get a law punishment. Is she right???

You are allowed to get an airsoft gun and it doesnt risk your moms daycare center at all. The US has regulations that airsoft guns are legal as long as they have an orange tip on the end. If they don't it can be considered a firearm and your mothers daycare is then in risk. You can buy an airsoft gun and play with it as long as there is an orange tip. Also i would probably keep the gun away from the 2 year olds.

Yes, everyone wants an airsoft gun.
But i think your moms daycare is more important.
Besides, once you get it, you won't be able to take it out and shoot it with all those kids around
