I like Matt but I'm going to be a little mean and say that I think they may have made a mistake. I think there should be an option where the judges choose someone to go home and LIL needs to get out. I'm sorry, I can't stand her. But there are people like Allison ( Adam, Danny, and Kris are not in trouble) that are REALLY good but seem to be vulnerable. Allison's been in the bottom 3 twice. I think they should have saved it just in case. Don't get me wrong, I love Matt's personality but there were better people to save. BUT LIL NEEDS TO GET OUT!!!!!

I hope anoop and lil go home next week. (vote for the worst is going for lil) I think matt has potential, and so do the judges or else they wouldn't have saved him. His performance last night was GREAT! but last week, he did bad, and same with the week he played the piano in the audience (singed a song by the fray? i think?) he won't win, but im glad he made it through. If i were the judges, i wouldn't have used the save on him. i wouldve saved danny adam the redhead girl or kris

I am very glad they used it on Matt! He is sooo good and I think he deserves to go farther. Did you know that the Judges Save was only good for two more weeks? So, if they didn't use it today, they would have had only one more chance to use it, which is next week. So, better they used it for Matt now. Everyone was like, why don't you save it for Adam or Allison, or whatever, but they probably won't end up in the bottom next week anyway. So goooo Matt!

i think the save was wasted because its not like Matt is ever going to win. In my opinion Matt and Lil should and will most likely go home next week. Anoop i agree is good but like you said no one will buy his CD's or care about him alot all after american idol is over (similar to the guy with the grey hair who won, i forgot his name Taylor er something) Kris is cute but he's nothing special and i think he'll be easily forgotten. Danny i think is very good but he's kind of blah and i dont think he'll win however he is doing pretty well. adam and allison are at least different and i really hope one of them win. personally i think allison has the best voice.

No i do not think it was wasted. The save was only in place til the final five so it was going to have to be used in the next two weeks anyway and the top runners like Adam and Danny weren't going anywhere so why not save Matt this week.
