Children can survive much longer in very cold water because of something called mammalian diving reflex. Children have survived more 15 minutes underwater after falling through ice with the record being about 60 minutes.

same amount of time.
Biology expert ... at times.
the only argument you could make is that in the cold you would have less lung capacity due to constriction of tissues (a reaction to usually freezing temperatures) ... maybe it is harder to swim in one or the other... warm water is less dense than cold water... maybe that could kill you quicker as well...
about the same time to drown though I am pretty sure... it has to do with water entering the lungs and blocking oxygen that goes to the brain, so no matter what, it isn't about a water temperature. Just about how much time a person has a blockage disallowing oxygenated blood to get where it needs to.

It relies upon no remember while you're being drowned or you in basic terms can not swim. in case you will kill somebody, carry them down lots longer than whilst they end shifting. can not swim, 2-3 minutes. respiratory in water hurries technique. warmth would not remember except extreme.

Cold water...
Cold water slows your heart rate and metabolic rate thereby decreasing the amount of oxygen your body consumes. The less oxygen your body consumes, the less it pulls from your lungs and the longer the amount you take under the water with you will last.

well cold water means the molecule movement is a little slower
warm water means the molecules are moving faster.
i don't really think it matters in the long run, drowning is still going to happen either way

Depends on how cold. Hypothermia would set in quickly and lead to drowning. either way, I do not reccommend drowning. It is not fun!

Im pretty sure that you would die quicker in cold water.. you would have hypothermia and drown...warm water wouldnt slow your blood down as fast as cold water would.

Now, I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE, but I would say warm water.
Its bad to gulp in water, no matter what its temp, but taking in cold water might drop your core temp, putting your body into shock and causing it to shut down faster.

Its just a guess, but I think you would die quicker in cold water.
