Its a futuristic rifle (in development, I guess) In its default setup it fires rounds similar to an M4 or M16, but a few quick changes and the rifle can fire rounds for an AK. I saw it on tv, but I am having trouble remembering what it is and its driving me nuts.

My family and I just moved into a duplex a week ago. I use one of those surge protectors that have the two lights; a red one for "Protected" and a green one for "Grounded". I use it to plug my PS3 into. At first, everything was working fine. However, a few days ago I went to plug the protector in, and when I turned it on, the green light did not come on. I tried it out on several outlets in the house, but the light still did not come on. I bought a new protector and tried it on different outlets, but it's "Grounded" light did not come on. I'm not comfortable using my PS3 if there is a potential problem.

1. What the hell happened, why are we no longer grounded?

2. What needs to be done the correct this problem?

3. Is there something I could do to fix the problem?

4. If I have to call an electrician to do the work, what do you think the cost would be?

I use Windows XP, IE7 (I think), on a Compaq PC.

When I enter an item in the search bar (kari byron, best buy, etc) , the links that I receive are bogus and lead to a different page.

When I enter an item with .com (espn.com, ufc.com, adultswim.com, etc) the links I receive are legit and go where they claim to go.

I use Norton 360, updated, and ran a full scan, but nothing was found.

I downloaded Malwarebytes and ran that. It found 8 infected items and deleted them (quarentined), reset my cpu, but the problem continues.

I went into Internet Options and deleted the cookies and browser history, but the problems continues.

Any ideas?

I plan on switching to foxfire. Should I fix my current problem first, or will foxfire be unaffected.

For starters, I'm a PS3 owner, and I have NO INTEREST in the online part of the game (pause for *gasp*).

How does the game play?

Is it fast and arcade-ish like BF2, or is it more controlled like CoD 4, or is it something else? Please explain, I'm still a little up in the air about getting it.

I have an HP vs15 flat screen, HP SR1901WM cpu, and HP dvd840 external dvd player.

When I play dvds, the sound of some of them is choppy and distorted, while others sound clear and fine. Also, the volume stops getting louder at "30", but I can select levels past 30. Does anyone know a way around this, or to improve this?

I have decided to get a DVD Player/Writer for my HP. What I was wondering is; Is it difficult to install a DVD drive, or can any boob do it. I replaced the internal modem drive awhile ago, so I'm not to squirmish about going into my computer.

Can someone give me a general idea of the steps involved to install it? Also, is there a certain brand I should get, or would any do?

And, just to finish on a dumb note, I could play regular DVDs, like movies (Silent Hill) and tv box sets (Family Guy) on it, right?

256MB Memory, 80GB Hard Drive, Use phoneline for the Internet.

I was wondering, how can I increase the speed at which I download clips and movies. Like on Youtube, it takes almost 15 minutes to download a 4 minute clip. Same thing when downloading clips or songs from other sites. They load up fast and play fine after the initial download, its just the first time that takes forever.

NOTE I have no plans of getting high speed from Yahoo or anyone else, or going with a cable line. So give me any and all other solutions.
