Why do some adult women make a play for teenage boys?

I sometimes see interesting news from the USA on TV saying that nearly each month a woman gets sentenced for having slept with a minor. Why do they do that? Are they bored from their husbands and boyfriends?

    Why do men do the same thing? and far more men than women do this!

    If you ask me, any older person who goes after inappropriately younger people (15 years or more their junior) are vampirical. They're either predators or suffering from a case of arrested development!
