Does anyone know what is effective for dry cracked skin?

ugh, I have the same issues.

When it's hot, my skin is fine but during the winter it's always dry or cracked.

It mainly depends where you want to fix the skin.

If you want to moisturize your body, try Aveno products, they're amazing and are proven to have long lasting effects.

If you need it for your face, look on the back of most moisturizers to check if they're ok for your face (nothing to cause blemishes)

A good tip is to ALWAYS moisturize right after the shower, so you don't give your skin time to dry out.

Also, it helps when you carry a small travel sized moisturizer in your purse for random patches of dry skin

There is a lotion that was only available if you asked the Pharmacy, it is called Amlactin. It works very very well for dry skin, but it is not cheap. You can get it at Walgreens. It is in a white and green bottle.

I started using Cerave and it has worked miracles on my skin. It cost 14 bucks at CVS and it last forever!

haha well i suggest you go down to your local herbal shop, and ask for chickweed oil just rub this on the area and it will go away!
