suggestions regarding Semester at Sea?

Question

My roommate just got back from semester at sea a few months ago(a cruise around the world and take college credits)
Just for fun I started checking it out, my parents found out and offered to front me the money for next fall.  I would jump at the opportunity, but after looking at the classes, it would really push me back a semester.  Should I do it?  I plan on going to law school and really want to get started, but it is a cruise around the world.  Any suggestions?

Your parents are offering to fund a trip around the world and you are hesitating????  Just think how this will change your life.  

And (secondly) it will look great when you weave it into your personal statement for your law school application.

You should absolutely try a semester at sea. Where else would you be able to travel the world, ride a boat and learn how to sail? I think it would be a great experience.
