Statements about removing shoes?
Which of these two statements better reflects your view?
1. "If you don't want people to remove to wear shoes in your house, don't invite anyone."
or
2. "If you don't want to remove your shoes, don't visit anyone."
Small typing error. The word 'remove' should not be in statement no.1

I agree with the first statement. If I am that particular about my carpet, then I wouldn't invite people over.
My sister and brother-in-law make you take your shoes off OUTSIDE before you even get into the house, no matter what the weather. I don't visit them.

Neither really reflects my views. For my house it's, "Take your shoes off if you want." Most of my friends feel the same way.

Neither --- if shoes are the underlining factor on me seeing a friend then you know what i'm not a good friend for somthing this trival....
if the homeowner wishes for you to take off your shoes then do so! if your feet stink and your at a friends house WHO CARES..your among friends!
if they are friends they will put up with it or tell you to put shoes on!
I can't beleive some people will let shoes on or off dictact who they are friends or being friendly with!

2 is better to be honest. Well in my opinion anyway.
