How do you measure a victory in Iraq?
Do you count deaths on either side? The Iraqi people stepping up and taking control of their own country? Finding WMD's?

There will be no victory for us in Iraq. The victory will belong the Iraqi's. They will have Saddam no longer in power to dictate and terrorize them and they won't have us in their country any longer. (once we finally leave). We won't see it because it has only tore our country apart and divided us. Our sons, daughter, father's and mothers have been lost in that country. And all for what?

Iraq will never be a victory because they'll never get back all the people who have died on both sides. Well done to the US for creating a new breeding and recruitment ground for the terrorists.

To Britain Iraq can never be a victory - I don't know how the US could consider Iraq a victory - I don't understand how Iraq can be a success , sorry ,

Victory came in late 2003 when we got Saddam, we only want to stay there now to keep their oil off the market so Exxon and Shell can gouge more profits.

you measure it by the gradual stabilization and democratization of its society. Thats not necessarily a western style democracy, but a democratically electected representational government where the laws of the land reflect the will of the people living there. if that means their coins say "In Allah We Trust" then so be it.

I measure it by getting out NOW and finding Bin Laden like Bush promised.

When we get out of there completely, go total ethanol and make their oil worthless, and then let the insane radical muslims get back to killing each other and if Israel wants to kill muslims, they can pay for it and send their own guys in.
