Im considering shipping my things to the states from the middle east...?
and im wondering if its worth it to ship my electrical items as well. I have no idea if they will work there...but I heard if i use an adapter they will. So if i buy lots of adapters for all my electrical items...like tv...computer...microwave etc...will they work there ?

Don't know about the Middle East, but I moved from Germany back to the states and I sold all my electronics in advance. Yes, you can buy adapters for your plugs but if the appliances run on a different voltage system you'll need a converter. It's a real pain to have to plug all the things you'll be using into a bulky converter. So I would just sell the items if they aren't based on the US 110V system. Technology has changed and many items like TV's/computers/microwaves/etc are so affordable now it would be better just to sell and rebuy, not to mention the cost of shipping and risk of breakage.

Yeah, with an adaptor they should work. Although usless you REALLY want to ship everything, why don't you just buy things from there. You'll have a warranty and everything.
