Comedians considered George Bush to be comedic gold. With McCain/Palin- the low hanging fruit will be even easier to pick. Perhaps too easy.

Nah, they just can't wait for Obama to get out of office so that they can start spending their own checks again. THey have all the material they need for a decade of political jokes in Obama himself.
