Do you believe that Police Officers, law enforcement should be accountable that same as health professionals?
Police should be registered the same as Nurses, Physicians etc with a License check and accountable for their actions. If a law enforcement agent mistreats a citizen, the only thing you can do is go to the Law officals and we all know the nepitism that exists. They should be trained and accountable as public servants, the same as Health Officals. Little training or education is required for a person to have a badge and carry a gun.and kill people...yet years and years of training, education etc is given for health officals to heal people.

Police are certified and health care people are licensed.
That is the difference. We are held accountable - more so than health care people. When we get into trouble, we are fired and sometimes arrested - health care people can leave the state they are licensed in and hop to another.
You'll never pull that one off in LE - you not employable after that incident.
And by the way I have a four year degree - but if you want to make the pay commensurateate to the profession - I'll go back to school to earn 300,000 a year - and yes you'll pay that bill for salary and post another complaint.

Who says they don't already bypass by those exams? attempt contacting the LAPD, la County Sheriff's branch, California street Patrol or the different regulation enforcement organisation interior the State of California and ask what exams are administered to cadets earlier to even being accepted into the academy. minimum is: a million. Written try. 2. actual agility try. 3. psychological evaluation 4. finished history analyze. 5. Polygraph 6. Oral interview.

you are right, without a tape of thier actions or a super expensive attorney, a citizen mistreated has little chance of winning. who do you think they believe, a person arrested for a crime, or a cop. it sux, if you get involved with a crooked cop, its a dangerous situation. they usualy win.

Don't know where you are, but cops are trained here int he USA and held accountable if they abuse a person. Or is this just a rant cause you got a ticket/arrested?

WITH ALL THE ABUSE HERE IN THE U.S.A. LIKE THE CORRUPT COPS THAT DUMPED A MAN OUT OF HIS WHEELCHAIR , THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE SCRUNITY. THE FIRST THING THAT NEEDS TO BE OUTLAWED IS THE CODE OF BLUE AND ANYONE WHO FOLLOWS IT BE CHARGED WITH THE SAME CRIME AS THE COP WHO DID IT IS CHARGED ------JUST LIKE A DRIVER OF A GIT-AWAY CAR DRIVER IS CHARGED WITH WHATEVER THE OTHERS ARE CHARGED . A COP IS NOT ABOVE THE LAW ( BIG JOKE ) AND NEED TO BE BUSTED FOR ALL THE WRONGDOING THEY ARE UP TO . THERE WILL NEVER BE JUSTICE ------UNTIL THE LAW OFFERICERS ARE CLEANED UP .
