If you can't see it it's not real...?

Question

All too often the argument against evolution that I hear is that there was no-one around to witness it happen, so how could it happen.

They of course ignore the fossil evidence.

But at the same time, don't they realize they're shooting themselves in the foot?  After all, no-one saw "God" create the world in 6 days.

(this question got reported and deleted apparently for not being an actual question.  I thought it was... but anyhow... here is my actual question.)

How can creationists have this double standard?

These type of people are only seeking out selfworth, by collecting followers that agree with them or are sucked into their way of thought.  Most that follow probably use an example of 'never seeing a trillion dollars in their life', but a trillion dollars does exist.  It all matters on what you want to believe. I go by this, some of my beliefs are the same as some designated belief systems, but not all.  I'm eclectic something, eclectic something because I haven't found an exact label for all of my beliefs.  Who wants to be a complete follower of something?  And what if later on in years, evidence is found that your belief group is completly false?  How will you feel then?  Like a complete idiot for being drowned in someone elses concrete thoughts of how things are.

I am life* The world is real regardless of how it came about. Whatever the source of energy that got things going in the first place is major and powerful by whichever name you want to call it, God or abiogenesis. I never heard that argument, but it's silly.

I have actually never heard this argument come out of a creationists mouth.  I mean, I have heard that you can't see evolution, but I have never heard "If you can't see it it's not real."  I have heard the same side about God coming from atheists, too.

Even if you see it, it can be unreal...a mirage...a hallucination. Both the seen and unseen have to conform to logic and reason. That's why I oppose evolution. It's illogical and doesn't explain the facts. And I'm not a Creationist.
