Is driving on cobbled streets hard on a car? The tires? The suspension?
We watch Coronation Street and watching that made us wonder?

not over such short distances and at such low speed.
cars are tested for this sort of environment and can easily handle most of this.
on long stretches such as dessert roads with a 'washboard' to run on and at speed the cars have to endure prodigious vibration which can and often does lead to parts failure such as suspension. even parts inside the car have been known to fall off such as mirrors and trim which then rattle etc.
After all a normal road will not have extreme conditions and a cobbled street is not really very long and can hardly be sped down. so overall yes it is hard on a car ( except tyres)

It loosens your fillings if you drive too fast, good road calming measure lol. Not so hard on the tyres but suspension won't like it, as you will feel while driving down them :)
There is always an exception to this rule and in this case is if you drive a Citroen. The older cars has hydraulic/gas suspension and you never noticed any bumps.
Could also adjust the height of the car from the road by quite a few inches to clear real bumpy roads. Not sure if that is still true for their newer cars though.
