My cat came home wet after a fight, and now she's very scared.?

your cat has fight with the other cat because your cat enters the other cat's area and the other cat does not like it hence the cat fights with yours

but there r more reasons for fight as they do not like each other or the cat is very aggressiveetc...

the only thing u can do is to keep your cat indoors if there r constant fights and your cat is getting hurt.

That was my first thought when I read your intro...someone broke up the fight by throwing water on them. Maybe it will discourage her from going back over to the neighbors and fighting. I know kitties don't like having water thrown at them but I'm not sure why she would be scared.(maybe a little ticked off) I sure hope that nothing else happened to her to cause her to be afraid.

at least if it was a bad experience for her she might not go back over there. best to reasure her and build her confidence back. has she had her shots, dont want her getting any nasty diseases.

she may have fallen into a pond or pool. that would be scary.
