What are great upscale bars or lounges in San Jose to celebrate a bachelor/bachelorette's party, to have a few cocktails and appetizers in a great, slick atmosphere?

How about Fahrenheit Ultralounge? It is definitely an upscale and intimate place. Cocktails and tapas galore. Perfect for a bachelor/bachelorette party IMHO.

go to Santana Row you can go to sino it gets really busy after 10pm or the bar in the hotel Valencia you have a lot to choose from there and if you get board you can just move on to the next bar. It's nice because you don't have to drive you can just walk everywhere and if you like even get a room at the hotel.

There's a really great French restaurant in Almaden Valley. It's called Le Foret. Absolutely beautiful setting... romantic and tranquil. I love this area.
