Clubs all over the main cities. Lots of visiting students take part. Just turn up on a comp night and find a team that can give you a game at your level. You'll be asked to join up probably after a week or so.

how long a time are you talking about, you can get a tourist visa for 3 months then either a 1 or 2 year working visa. you could always approacha basketball club for sponsorship. if they agree they will sponsor you to stay there as long as you like
