Atheists, have you ever listened to,?

Lee Strobel, He was an atheist that has a great personal story of how he came to know Jesus. What are your thoughts towards his coming to believing? There are other clips that you can view of his current ministry that may touch your view point as it did for him in his extensive research.

The man obviously had doubts of weather he believed or not. He clearly had his faith restored. Not a true Atheist at all. A true Atheist would never be converted into a life of hypocrisy and delusions. True Atheists live in the REAL WORLD.

I actually read one of his books a Christian friend lent me because I heard so many Christians cite him as a good source. I found his arguments and evidentiary claims rather weak and one sided myself. One example is dealing with the two different accounts in the Bible for the death of Judas and the argument they represent a contradiction and therefore speak to it not being an inerrant book. Mr. Strobel just says it was explained to him that the two different stories might not be exclusive that Judas might have fallen and had his abdomen burst open as well as by hanging. Okay, you can make up stories to believe just about anything but that is not very convincing unless you are just looking to be convinced and willing to grab onto any explanation that allows you to be. This is just one weak example since its relatively short to explain and I remembered it off the top of my head.

He, as many other "christians", talk about the "torrent of evidence" and yet few if any have any evidence. They have, as his site states "faith" which is not evidence. He talked about how Jesus changed his life an attitude and his wifes life and attitude and it was much more pleasant. But what if he had changed his life to that positive aspect after having heard a talk about the "Prince of Insufficient Light". Would he now be a satanist? As usual they are a lot of hot air and little substance.

THE CASE FOR CHRIST FOR KIDS

    by Lee Strobel, Rob Suggs

    What about this...!!!

Revelation 2:23 (NIV) (Jesus says) I WILL STRIKE HER CHILDREN DEAD* (*No abortionist can beat Jesus at killing babies… AMEN??? Sweet Jesus Christ himself is the one having the pleasure of doing the killing of children so he can teach everybody a lesson on WHO IS THE BOSS! The Clergy earned millions printing books about Jesus love for the little children of the world without telling anybody about Jesus’ vicious children killing craze. In our society today he would be in jail for promoting the killing of children to favor a particular religion!!!). Then ALL THE CHURCHES WILL KNOW that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.* (*I’m the BOSS says Jesus! Praise the LORD! Sweet Jesus… He is such a great teacher and he must have learned all that from the Mafia! Either that or the Mafia learned from Jesus!!!)

I have read all of his books except for the latest (The Case for the Real Jesus) and found them all to be mindless drivel.

Funny how he was only an "atheist" when he wanted to write books as a "converted" Christian and make some money.

If you read any of his works, you will see he is grossly misinformed about what atheists believe.

Lee's claims of Atheism are disproved by his own testimony.

He now claims that he was a believer in rebellion against God, which is not at all the definition of an Atheist.

Would you accept my testimony about the fallacy of Socialism, if it turned out that my claims of being a reformed Socialist, turned out to be made up?

    I didn't think so.

Personally, I was a born again Christian, who is now an Atheist......surprisingly, I am more inclined to believe me than someone profiting from published books that support faith.

I actually was a devout Christian before becoming atheist, so I know what I'm missing, believe me. I spent my teenage years sure that the Apocalypse was going to start any day and was petrified every single day. But, don't assume atheists are clueless about the teachings of Christianity.

I'd like to hear the "torrent of evidence" he talks about. If he did any research at all I think he would find much more evidence pointing towards evolution and a secular lifestyle.

    L. Ron Hubbard was a second-rate science fiction author until he founded a cult.

Is religion a means to fame and wealth?

I may not speak for all atheists, but I don't care about personal revelations. Bring me evidence, or go away.
