um, how can i put this, my friend, marcy, came to our graduation and she like acted like she was so special cuz she got an outsanding award, i did too! and marcy cant stand i i have something that she dosnt have. the only reason y she got that award is cuz im always letting her cheat. what should i do? sometimes i just wanna slap her until she shuts up. should we be friends?

If you find that she acts this way on a regular basis, I think that this mess is not worth your worries and trouble. However, if this is just something that happens several times, you need to consider whether she actually has the potential of being a good friend. If this attitude of hers is too overwhelming for you, then maybe you should confront her or find new friends. If you think you can bare it given she has good friendship qualities, than try to bare with the way she acts. Maybe you will get used to it, or she will change.
If you need help with trying to decide whether she is a good friend, my definition (in my own opinion) of a good friend would be someone who supports you, and will be there for you. Also, someone who makes you feel better, and lifts your spirits regardless if you're feeling down or not.
