Shoes Off Nazi?

I require people visiting my home to remove my shoes because I want to keep it clean.

I have been described as a 'Shoes Off Nazi.'

Don't you think that is a really stupid term?

Update:

I mean their shoes. Thanks to the person who pointed out my typing error.

yeah, even worse though are people who want to walk around a nice clean house with shoes that they've worn on spit, puke, dog crap filled streets. makes me wretch....

I'd be proud of the name...better than being some filth monger...

Yes it is. I also expect visitors to remove their shoes when entering my home.

I spend a lot of effort, time and money maintaining my home and I expect that to be respected. Whoever called you that must be a bit of a slob. Lose that friend and find someone who understands your principles.

I know many people who have the same idea and we are not unusual. So, not only is it a stupid term it is offensive too.

Well, it's not very accurate. People do tend to throw the word "nazi" around rather casually. Whole cultures believe in removing shoes before entering a home (especially as a guest) or a "holy" place like a mosque or temple. Think of Hawai'i, the Middle East and most of Asia.

    It's a gesture of respect....

No, I'm the same as you. I hate outside cr@p being walked in to my house!

Bl00dy kids are really sh*tting the house up because they are too lazy to remove their shoes.

I have to shout "Take those bl00dy shoes off at the door" at least 10 times a day!

I'm sick of sweeping up after the messy sods!

    Yes,

People who call you this have no respect for you. You if is your house and they should respect your rules.

I see nude feet as a health issue, not a domination issue.
