How long does it take? and which will be the shortest route?
I'll be reaching there at 9 am and my next train (Jammu Tawi Express) is at 11:45 am. Will I reach on time?

Its arround 20 KM.
From airport take a pre-paid taxi which would cost you approx Rs 150/- and 1 hour time. Do not waste any time in airport. As soon as you land rush to taxi counter. Do not carry any luggage which would take 30 minutes more to get cleared.

It's about 20km from Airport. It's really tough to catch that train, since
1. You can expect a delay in Landing and Baggage release at the airport.
2. Morning time will be with full of traffic in this route. The Calcutta Roads are also not very wide.
