which majour sickness did you ever have?

I have Hiv but after living with this for 9 years God has blast me with an Hiv negative child and I am living life to the fullest. i'm about to graduate from college and as we say in the Hiv community we have hiv but don't live it.

I had bacterial meningitis as an infant. It nearly killed me. It left me with a condition called hydrocephalus or "water on the brain." I've had a couple/few feet of Teflon tubing from the ventricles in my brain down into my abdomen for almost my whole life. I've had surgery on it...nine times in 14 years although none for the past 15 years (thank goodness).

I have hydrocephalus (excess water on the brain) and had to have surgery for it 3 times.

Mono.. it sucked. My tonsils got so big they were closing off my airway. I couldn't even swallow my own saliva. I thought I was going to die. I'm healthy and tonsil less now! Thank God!

Mono was the worst for me. I was sick for like 2 months at the minimum.

uh i think i had strep throat when i was young i hated the medicine i ha to take. next to that i had a cold last year that would not go away!!!

Either appendicitis or menengitis. Definately one of them.
