Prison Footwear?

FYI: A few years back the prison corporation that runs Wasco State Prison in California made the warden stop buying flip-flops from a local vendor for $0.50/pair and instead made the warden buy them from the official prison store at $8.00/pair.

inmates also wear bacco tin's as they are called , shoes that are very square at the front,the blue and white trainers was just meant for them that go to the gym some jails do enforce this rule and you just have to go to the gym a couple a times to get the trainers, or get some one else to get them for you.

as for flip flops have you ever been slapped with one? they do hurt and to be honest it makes no difference what someone is wearing if they are going to fight they will fight in jail just the way it is

Flip Flops they arent that dangerous, allthough in some prisions they allow inmates to wear tennis shoes with out shoe laces

I don't think it's so much about them not fighting back as much as it is an economic issue. Prisons have to buy pretty much everything in bulk quantities so they usually go with whatever is cheap. Although they do also wear workshoes or workboots during the day.

Here in my county,they wear kinda like a slip on plastic shoe

I'd rather be in an English nick than an American one, whatever footwear was being worn, frankly.

I think prisoners should be made to wear big floppy clown shoes, and they should be taught to make laughs and not fear.They should have pillow fights and throw cream pies and hug each other afterwards.And when they are let out we should look up to them and give them our support.

the should supply them with spiked steel toe caps, keep the warders on the safe side of the fence,

then let them kick the s--t out of each other,

they should wear velcro tennis shoes. thay way we won't have to worry about the shoe strings.
