yes,they are strong then man.they tolerate physical pain,mental tensions,they have much patience compared to men,they after family single haded.

Yes sir, I do agree. It is "SAKTHI' or energy that sets the "SIVAM" in motion. If there is no 'SAKTHI' there is no 'SIVAM'. Further, the "Ardhanariswara" concept says that both men and women are equal. They are regarded as better half or the other half. It is only in the distribution of this strength either mental or physical we attribute some differences. It is for the evolution of the world , the Almighty has bestowed upon the creatures such a difference and human race is one among them. It is something like bow and arrow. The more the bow bends, the longer and powerful will be the strike of the arrow. If men are arrows, women are bows. They remain stable, but the arrow goes and strikes. Moreover, the arrow only is visible and appears to be the striking factor. This is true in real life too when studied from puranas to IT Regime, today. Most of the battles, if you look at the historical events closely, are found to have been faught not on the open fields, but from the andhapuras or harems of the kings, guided by their wives or paramours. Kaikayi, Sita, Tara, Mondhodari were there to bring about the expected turns and twists in Ramayana. Draupathy, Kunthi, Sathyavathi and so on in Mahabharatha. Chandramathi, Nalayini, had their roles played well. Chittoor Rani Padmini, Jhansi Laxmi bai, in the recent past. Not to speak of the ladies of political sphere in the current world. They are strong, calm, goal oriented. Why then this looks the otherwise? Oh, here lies the strength of the menfolk. The menfolk are able to contain the women in keeping them not knowing their real strength. At least, in this single point, and I believe in this point alone, the man proves to be superior to woman. I can only say that all whether a men or a women both have there own level of mental strength, toleration and being single .

You can't say that it is only women who is posessing these qualities. It's like how you as an individual has been bought up in the society, and the situations in which you are living a life.

Mental strength : Those who have confidence and self esteem have surely the mental strength.

Toleration : Those who tolerated come out of the situation with flying colours.

can be single : Those who have bitter experiences in life want to be single or any other reason can also prevail.

But being a women is surely a challenge in itself and surely being a lady I am proud to be a mother, sister, wife, daughter, friend.

Probably you are right that women can tolerate physical pain better than men (there was some research done on the topic). On the contrary, I think it's easier for men to stay single than it is for women. Men don't feel such a strong need to be with one partner only (as it is in nature)... they appreciate their freedom better and try to make the most of it unlike women, who keep dreaming about one man in particular or about meeting "the one". But I'm not sure about the rest - I think it depends on the person.

I think assumptions that men are one way, and women are another way, are completely skewing our individual qualities. There is no black or white answer here. Our mental/emotional/physical strength is tied to our environment, our genetics, our communities, our cultures, our interests, our perspectives, etc etc. There are so many if's and's and but's about what makes us a certain way, that there is absolutely no right or wrong answer to this question.

We are who we are, whether male or female. Some of us are wimps, and some of us are soldiers. Some of us need companionship, others revel in our independence. Some of us follow traditional roles determined by thousands of years of female/male role enslavement, and some of us have realized that we are no longer chained.

Usually women folks are very weaker section only, but has provided the strength in other areas where our men do not have any strength at all. in general, women are physically weaker than men. for this situation, partly men are responsible. from the starting days of human civilisation, with the sector specialisation earmarking, women got domestic affairs to be looked after whereas men got field work. since field work also involves physical, their structure stabilised to bear the brunt while women remained soft. in the future days if equal opportunity is given to women, there is no doubt of they are growing equal to men!

it is not that women are emotionally strong the only thing is the men should have the eye to see it .
