Of course AIDS is a huge problem... YET... I was watching a show (Democracy Now) and a UPenn prof was had written a book about the OIL-DRIVEN conflicts in Africa... He stated that many conflicts were NOT caused by internal strife, but by super powers as a diversionary tactic... The African governments are so busy quelling the unrest, they do not have the resources to stop the myriads of pipelines being built... Contrary to popular opinion, sub-Saharan Africa has the most abundant oil reserves, NOT the middle east (North Africa).

i think aids is there biggest probly. im not sure if they are in any wars or violence.
