How can I find out how many traffic infraction points I have with the DMV?

I just recently switched car insurances and I was quoted a pretty good deal by Farmers. Now I find out that they raised my premium because my "Driver Safety Level" changed. The only explanation I have would be that I have points with the DMV for traffic infractions. The problem is that I never had an accident and only one traffic infraction that should have been cleared up by going to traffic school.

Is there a way I can find out how many "points" I have accumulated with the DMV and for what reasons? Any online option?

You should be able to goto the DMV and ask them.

Yes there is. Call up DMV. Believe me they have all the answers to your driving record. They would be the first to contact you if you had too many traffic infractions on you. Drop Farmers Insurance and go with someone like Mercury. We've had them for 20 years

There's never an online option due to security issues. Go to the State Police or DMV and ask for your driving record.

There are other explanations, ask Farmers why they raised your rate.

Your state website. You have to order or go to the DMV and request your record for a small fee. My insurance agent never has a problem giving me a copy of my DMV record.

you can go to the local dmv office and pay a small fee to get a copy of your driving record for the past 5 years. have them give you an official copy to give to your insurance agent. you might be able to get your rates reduced. farmers may also have made a mistake with their paperwork too.

relies upon on the state, the infraction, and so on. call your community DMV (or MVD, regardless of you call it). (Or bypass on line to their internet site.) all the solutions would be there. yet you will no longer get an answer right here because you probably did no longer specify a state.

WHY DON'T YOU JUST CALL YOUR LOCAL DMV OFFICE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS.
