Does anyone know what song this is and who sang it?

I am trying to locate the title and artist of a song. It was a country song sang by a female vocalist. The song lyrics was about child support. It said something like...I could use the money but I have my child support...he wakes me up each morning and smiles at me...the song was a twist on fathers who do not pay child support and mothers who raise their children as single parents and choose to see it as just happy they have the child and they believe the childs love is all they need. Any help would be appreciated.

There is another song we are looking for from about the same era. It was popular around 1985. It is a song that talked about "Its going to take a whole lot of money to do it to do it to do it right. and then something like its going to take a whole lot of spending time to do it to do it to do it right."
