Better use of Muslim's time?

Question

Wouldn't you think that members of the radical islamic community who are so up in arms about the Rushdie knighthood should spend their time on affairs concerning their own people, border, government, etc etc (ie focus on their own affairs and keep their snoots out of other country's business)?

You would think that members of these "offended" groups could better spend their time upgrading the things in their country to maybe bring their people into, say, the 17th or 18th century?  Better to figure out how to bring clean food and water to your people and eliminate the hatred and racism that dominates the middle east than to dork around getting upset at what some completely different country in a completely different part of the world does within the confines of their own borders!  Or wait, is that how they exert the control over their people?

Plain and simple, the radicals need a group to hate, Hitler had the Jews.

Firstly there is less racism and race stigma in the Middle East than in America.

Secondly, point well taken, but Many Middle eastern countries do have clean food and water (i.e., Gulf countries and Turkey.) Countries that have few natural resources such as oil or were colonized or have dictatorships supported by the US tend to fare less well because of government corruption. Taxes line the pockets of big families that were in place since the Europeans drew the borders of the Middle East (with little attention to distributing resources evenly among the nations, not that this was their concern.)

Most of us don't care... I mean it old news so old that his book came out when I was 1 and I did not know who he was till recently.. any way I agree that they should try to make there societies better......

yes there is the first thing that they should think about coming to know the true Jesus personally so they can love their enemies as he teaches and have Jesus power to do it, instead of rejecting his salvation.

this is how I as a Jew came to know Jesus personally too="The heavens declare the glory of God, and His word declares who He is." Psalm 19

before as a Jew I thought as I viewed the sky there had to be a God, Yet it took seeing Him described in the Jewish Scriptures for me to believe

Isaiah 9:6 "Unto us a child is born a Son is given, and He will be almighty God, the wonderful counselor, the prince of peace."

yet to have this one become real to me I had to do as He asks in the Bible "I love you and ask you to repent from your sins (even one lie) quickly, Behold I stand at your heart door and knock to come in, If you hear my word and ask me in, I will come in and be your friend and you mine." Jesus words from Revelation 1:1 &3:19&20 as he spoke from heaven to each of us.

Now Jesus is my savior Messiah and best friend and life is very good and the promise of heaven's joy instead of hell's torment forever for rejecting him and his word (Matthew 24 gnashing teeth and weeping forever, for rejecting his words John 12:48, & heaven wonderfulness along with hells torment in Jesus words Revelation 19-22nd chapters.
