Seems like now days Muslims are more after each other than anyone else. Shia, Sunni, Sufi, Quranist, and etc... We proudly say that there is only ONE Quran yet every Muslim follows something different. We bash each other instead of working together in these hard time when Muslim world is under pressure to show unity against the fundamentalist. Can't we just be happy that the other person is also Muslim? why should we play "my version of Islam is better than your version of Islam"? o and ever heard of divide and destroy?

I just realized how much stuff I have to do before school ends this semester and the thing is that I can't seem to retain anything when I study.. I am burnt out and need at least a weekend where I don't even look at my books but that's not going to happen.. Any advice for the last stretch of school?

I am goofy but most of the time because it makes people laugh... and it does not hurt my self esteem if people think I am stupid because I get better grades than them neway.. so is it bad to be goofy?

Cain was a farmer and Abel a sheep herder so obviously we are talking about domestic agriculture. There is no mention of nomads anywhere.. How come the all mighty God forget about those people?

If I say that we evolved than all the stories from Quran are wrong.

If I say Quran is 100% right than Evolution has no place.

but I can't in my mind deny the power of natural selection leading to evolution.

how do you cope with it? I want to know your EXACT theory and what you BELIEVE.

mm so as Quran says that Allah sent Adam (pbuh) and Eve (pbuh) to this world and so I assume there were monotheist? than how come we don't find any evidence of monotheism till Judaism? Why is Abraham (pbuh) labeled father of monotheist religion rather than Adam (pbuh)? Did Adam (pbuh) had many children according to the holly book than why is is that primal people worshiped nature instead of Allah?

Same question to Christians- what happens to people before Jesus? are there souls saved or are they going to hell or are they just lost and not accounted for at all?

practical atheist believe that there is no higher order, we die and thats it.. no purpose to anything at all..

but its human nature to search for meaning,why else would we have made up "religion" and "gods" in the first place.....

so does anyone here really believes that there is no meaning at all... what if someone close to you dies? would you still believe that it just happened. and not ask WHY?

I am writing a paper on women in Islam and its easy for me to say I am not oppressed.. Well my parents are good muslims and I am muslim too but not as good of a muslim as my parents or brothers.. My parents wish me to wear the hijab like my mom but they would never force me to wear it... they know it would not do any good if I wore it for them even though I would at least when I go out with my parents just out of respect... even besides that my dad does not quote quran often in treatment of women and in our house hold my mom actually wears the pants lol... so def my family is fine but wat about all other muslim women? how do you feel? especially if you live in east and not in west?!?!

To love someone is one thing …to be loved by someone is another thing …but to be loved by the 1 u love is EVERYTHING!!…

These questions make me SICK! Really people learn some basic chemistry before you go and compare presence of air to presence of God.
