Employment history on resume vs. job application?

I have two resumes online. One just lists only hotel jobs, for hotel employment, the other lists all jobs.

If a hotel company found my online hotel only resume, and wants me to fill out an application with complete employment history, do I list only the hotel jobs, or do I list all the jobs, even if they weren't on the original resume?

Thanks for your answers!

Kind regards,

Kevin

Update:

I should add that at times I had two simultaneous jobs. Most recently, I was at a hotel part-time, and a travel agency full time.

So again, would I list both of those on a resume if it asks for complete job history, or just the hotel one, since there are no employment gaps?

I would do the hotel jobs, but have an explanation somewhere on what you did during the times between or they will think you didn't have a job in there somewhere.

Like maybe specify "Hotel related jobs listed only" and have your other ones ready on your second resume in case they ask why the time spaces in between.

This is assuming that your hotel jobs were shared with other jobs over time.

Your employment history is asked for to get a feeling for what you have done before. It is possible that you may be asked who your supervisor was and that supervisor may be contacted. That supervisor will probably have very little to say, since you only worked there a short time. Not allowing contact with the supervisor may look odd and you don't want any odd things coming up. Your other references should more than make up for the brief, if any reference given by a former supervisor. Most supervisory people are unlikely to express anything particularly negative about a former employee. It makes them look bad for hiring that employee in the first place. Don't worry over it.
