I've recently got the dvd box set and have been glued - cannot believe my mom let me watch it first time round - I was 10, god knows how I got any sleep!!

Mr A enjoyed twin Peaks and that i hated it!! All those extraordinary and extraordinary human beings, no longer something conceivable in any respect. And that woman who carried a log wrapped in a blanket??? What in the international became that approximately??? Now Mr A likes My call is Earl and that i hate that too!!!!!! the two as daft. LOL

I remember not watching when it was on TV. Heh heh! It was on in the earlier 90s right? I think I was probably about the same age at the time and it was an adult drama and I was pretty much into cartoons only at that age. But to answer your question, yes I do remember when it was on TV and advertised.
