If there were proofs in the Bible that it was written by the influence of God...would you believe?

That would not make me believe anything. You know why? People can guess, we have imaginations I think up things all day long but does that mean they are going t be true... no. But they do have the potential to come true in the future as Science and technology prgress. Anything in the bible that shows what some beliee to be a prediction of the future is just a guess, an idea, that the author put in there in the hope that one day it would be true.

Just because the Bible's events could be proven scientifically it doesn't mean that they hold any divine powers to them. You can use this example with the many other old religions in the world.

How about this...if the same kinds of things were in other religious manuscripts, like the Koran (sp?), Hindu/Buddist/Confuscius writings, would you drop your bible and start following that religion?

If the Bible had made one clear and specific prediction that was corroborated by an outside source, that would be a start.

You mean things like bats being called birds, and the (impossible) story of a global flood?

Those scientific things?

tell me what things were there? they didnt know about germs at all. they knew if a midwife washed her hands before she delivered a child the kid would have a better chance at surviving but they didnt know the reason for it. please tell me these scientific things the bible knows.

btw the bible also said the sun stopped moving across the sky for one day. please scientifically explain how that happened also.
