WoW server selection for first timer..?

Have you tried a "recommended realm" yet? Blizzard will try to match to a realm in your time zone, etc. Other then that, I dunno. I like Boulderfist, it's a old realm, with a high population of 70s. Lots of Drama and it's kiddingly called a ghetto realm, but it's fun.

Go to one of the newer servers, so you will have people to group with and quest with as the population will be fresh. Going to an older server can result in a lot of high level characters busy with their own stuff and minimal interaction. My personal preference for servers are PvP servers, but that comes down to what you what to do with it. Just keep in mind that you will most likely stick with the character you like most , so getting stuck in a certain realm since you got attatched to a character can be a pest. Experiment in the early stages of the game to avoid this and find the style that best suits you (Just not too much, I have a few friends who lollygagged and have like ten 20's then stopped playing.)

My boyfriend and I play on Emerald Dream. It's a role-playing server, but the role-playing element is optional. Kind of fun if you're in the mood to get into character though.

It doesn't have a huge population, but it's not big and empty either. I see enough people that I don't feel alone, and there aren't enough people to annoy me. Plus, I haven't met any idiots on this server, and that's always a plus.

some the reason why inner most server is a foul theory: a million. Your password is seen to the unknown administrator. (And username, and digital mail, regardless of else you submitted... forums also.) 2. the game server isn't similar as snow fall server. Gameplay/stability isn't the same on a pirated server, because the pirated server develop into coded through thoroughly diverse human beings and changed through team of the pirated server. 3. existence on pirated servers are not honest. directors of pirated server provide their acquaintances huge products/gold/exp for loose. on the different hand, you ought to spend hours/days/weeks/months earning stuff that human beings were given for loose. merely play snow fall once you're going to play in any respect. everywhere else could have a ruined economy.

Azshara - It is a PvP and its has a lower pop so that your not getting ganked left and right all the time, and yet there are still enough people to do stuff. If you go alliance my name is ducknut so hit me up...
