American Literature: The best Sinclair Lewis Novel and why?
Not the most widely know author today in 2007 but a very accomplished and decorated main street american novelist in his time. Considering he recieved several different honors for his books, Which one of his novels (that you read) do you think was his best and why? (i've read Elmer Gantry, Dodsworth, a little bit of Babbit and Arrowsmith)

I've never forgotten the opening sentence of a book that gives a most remarkable and chilling look into the mind of a man. Not an evil man but one too weak willed to stand up to the deep- seated rightist viewpoint of his society. A man who chooses to collude and gets sucked in for gain.
