To donate BLOOD is...?

I donate regularly. It is necessary for everyone. I had to donate blood the last month of my pregnancy just in case because I have a rare type.

I donate 5 times a year (only suppose to be 4) It saves on average 3 lives each time you donate. I figure why not donate? I am not in the military fighting for my country so hopefully one of them gets some of my blood so they can see their family again! I also have visited someone in the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit) for the past 2 months and I have seen them little guys getting ALOT of blood and plasma!! Without it they would die. Not only does donating blood save lives but it spares family and friends the grief of losing a love one!!

Proper blood donation is not dangerous or terrible. I donate 4 times a year, and I'm proud of it.

Necessary. But I've never donated. When I wanted to a couple years ago I was told I had to wait a year because I had just pierced my tongue.

I use to donate all the time because I'm A-. It always made me feel I was contributing something very special. I can't donate anymore because of my Thyroid disease and I miss it.

I try to donate regularly it is something small to help others.
