Is there a trick to "print screen"?
Is there a certain combination of keystrokes to use when you want to just print the screen? Thanks.

Just press the PrtScrn key for the entire screen or Alt-PrtScrn for just the actrive window. That copies things to the paste buffer. Then just paste or Ctrl-V in Word or Paint or any other program and then print out!
good Luck!

There should be a key on your keyboard labelled Prt Scr (Print Screen). If you click that, then you need to open something like word and click Paste or Control V to paste the screen print into the document. From there, you print as normal or save. (Control P to print, Control S to save).
There are also several print screen programs you can buy or try. The one I like the best is called SnagIt. Not expensive but works great.

Try pressing the Ctrl and Print Scrn keys at the same time.
Bring up a program like Paint and click Paste.
Then click Print.

In the MS-DOS day print screen really did print screen. Now it is more of a screen capture. When you hit print screen, open a pain program and then paste, or CTRL V, and the image will appear. Then you can print it.

Not all windows applications support print screen as default Win 95/98 ME support this application as default setup for windows; XP depending who instaled it and what service pack you have turns it off (Dont know why ) If you cant manage to turn it back on try getting a screen capture program off the net.

The newer models have a print screen button on the keyboard...not sure about the old ones.

In Windows, hit Ctrl + Print Scrn. That will copy the image to the clipboard. You can paste it as a new image in any image-managing software.
