I have just brought a new laptop and it is loaded with windows 8 this architecture is the worst ever the computer is made more like a mobile phone than a pc, and I thought vista was bad does this platform have a fix to make it run like windows 7 it is so difficult, Microsoft must be having there platforms by idiots these days

I am wanting to develop a web page for my business what program is best suited with someone with no experience at doing such a thing i am not wanting to spend a $1000 on a program that i will only use once if you have some feedback on programs that would be much appreciated

I have Nero 9 I am wanting to burn a mkv video file but Nero is not waiting to have a bar of it what other program is capable of burning this type of file extension I have tried putting the file on a thumb drive and put it in the tv that does not work either

My kids are at an age now where they are destructive on DVD's and the program i have been using DVD Shrink to back them up does not do all that i have any ideas of what is better than DVD shrink

When i used to plug my thumb drives into the pc i used to be able to see its presence in my computer /removable drives but now it has vanished so i cant see what is on the thumb drive how do i get this icon back

Format Hard drive to original capacity ?

I recently formatted a hard drive that is 20 Gig and after the format it states that its capacity is now 2 Gig what do i have to do to it to get it back to its original size; I have formatted it again with no success this process was done on a P4 2 Ghz machine and it was converted to the NTFS file system whilst installing XP Pro.

Im interested in purchasing a laser printer that is economical for the volume i will be using, can any one tell me whether this unit has borderless printing abilities ,or which other laser printer does i have already been to the Xerox web site and downloaded the specs on the unit it does not say one way or the other.
