Lippi quits his coaching position...what are ppl's opinions on that??

If i new the answer to this i would say, but to me it's a mystery as to why he has quit, cause just the other day i read he was still interested in being involved with football and coaching. Just read about this on fifa.com.

    1. Lippi didn't say anything about his position. Yesterday he told in a TV interview when caught in the street of his city, Viareggio, "I will speak later"

    2. Agree with fishball, he got the best achievement in his career. Someone says he's going to have next year far from football fields.

    3. Some rumours say he's dealing with Manchester United.

My opinion is he's waiting the judgment in Italian football scandal, having his son Davide involved (*). The judgment could destroy actual 'serie A', having Juventus, Milan, Lazio, Fiorentina, throw in minor series ('serie C' for Juventus, B for others).

After the judgment he will decide.

(*)Not in cheating. He's a manager in a company of players' agents. The company is investigated by a dominant position. Don't know if it's correct, but it's an 'anti-trust' investigation***

Each kid is (I hope) different. He could end up being the next technology innovator for all we know, or the next crack addict. Spend one on one time playing with just him and not every boy/girl in the area? Play with his toys with him and ask questions that get him to open up (at 7). Don't push him, or explain why something is better than another, just play with him. Boys need affection at that age, REAL Daddy time. Take the kid fishing, just you and him. Teach him something you know rather than what some coach is teaching every punk kid for 30 miles. Can you build, fix, cook? Teach him those things, they're infinitely more useful than sports. Fitness as an adult is easy if he's outdoorsy and can cook a healthy meal--Or he can get fat on a couch wasting away in front of the World Cup or college basketball at 28. Let's get one thing straight, sports are hobbies. No one really needs sports in their lives, they're simply a form of entertainment between work and sleep. I've heard all the arguments about team building, competitive edge, physical fitness (see over 30 HS sports friends -- not so fit anymore), and socialization (more for the parents me thinks) -- from which one can get the better (more positive) skills from Scouts, community events or volunteering. Competitiveness can be healthy to a point, but let's be honest, in our adult lives throwing your Thing around in everything you do is closet narcissism and usually ends up just being a charade to hide an empty life. Spend more quality time with him, he's special no matter what he takes up.

I think it is reasonable because the man has achieved the greatest prize in world football for the nation - a job very well done.

Domenech however is staying on... mon dieu!
