Has anyone heard of the last name Zorn?

There was a famous mathematician with the name Zorn. Zorn's Lemma has been shown to be equivalent to The Well Ordering Principal and the Axiom of Choice.

Regarding their lack of obviousness of their equivalence, I was once told that "The Axiom of Choice is obviously true, The Well Ordering Principle is obviously false, and Zorn's Lemma is incomprehensible." ANd when you read them, it certainly seems that way.

There was a Jim Zorn who played quaterback for the Seattle Seahawks some years back.

If I was guessing, I'd guess Mr. Zorn died, his wife remarried a Mr. Boell, and Mr. Boell died or was out of town when the census was taken.

It is a German (Austrian?) name which means "anger"
