My dogs always eat my cats food. Why doesn't anybody sell cat food flavored dog food?

Cat food has higher protein than dog food. It is hard on the dog's kidney's to eat that high of protein. Once in a while yes, but not on a regular basis. What a friend of mine does is she puts the cat's bowl up high for it to eat and it is out of the reach of the dog.

Good Question......My dog does the same thing. But, the only way he gets the cat food is if one of the cats knocks the bowl off of the shelf that they eat on (otherwise he eats the cats food all of the time).

Dogs eat cat food because cat food has a rich flavor compared to dog food. Cat food has a higher protein content than dog food due to cats having different nutrition needs.

Dogs will eat most things. Cat and dog food are pretty much the same. My cat will even eat my dog food (well not my dog food, but my dogs dog food).

It does remind me of a story I heard about a New York block of tenements where sociologists found a high level of people buying canned dog food. Now, they weren't allowed to keep pets in these buildings, so why were sales so high? Well, there was a lot of cannabis users here and the TV adverts for 'delicious meaty chunks' were just too enticing and caused the 'munchies'. :D

Why don't they make vomit or crotch flavored dog food, since they seem to like both of those. And if they could make a toilet flavored food, that might sell...

Here's my question: Why do they make dog food in colors (yellow for chicken, red for beef, etc.) Aren't dogs colorblind? And those are artifical colors....

I happen to have the same problem. I think this is a very good question that we should ask the dog food companies. They could make billions off of the idea!
