Life is ... the slow expiration of the past and the deep inhaling of the presence, to provide sufficient air for the future.
Hier liegt die Betonung auf "Ausatmen" und "Einatmen" - somit ist "breathing" zu allgemein und "gasping" heißt "keuchen" .....
