Ich bin Amerikaner und ich verstehe nicht, warum habt ihr uns nicht gern? Es ist nicht unser fehler das unser Regierung ist Ubel. Es macht nicht aus das wir konnen wahlen, die meisten unser politiker sind bose und sie arbeiten zusammen zu einer Totalitärer Staat schaffen. Wenn irgendetwas, die Amerikanischen leuten brauchen Stütze und Hilfe von der restlichen welt. Dieses Land geht durch eine schwierige Zeit und wir gehen durch einen politisch burgerkrieg. Bitte konnt ihr mich verstehen? Wir brauchen hilfe und Verständnis oder das ursprüngliche Amerika wird verloren werden. Ich weine fur mein Land und brauch nur Bestätigung das irgendwo Sympathisiert mit uns. Auch ich muss frage, wie ist mein deutsch? Ich habe es fast 5 Jahre gestudiert und mein leben Gewidmet. Also, wenn man kann die antwort auf Englisch schreiben oder mit einfach deutsch so ich besser verstehen kann, das wird Geschätzt.

Ein Grund das ich habe dieser frage gefragt ist weil der Rammstein Lied "Amerika". Es hat ganz toll dinge uber Amerika sagte aber danach es sagt "This is not a love song." Ja, ich wisse das viele Deutscher finde Rammstein fremd aber ich habe "Warum hat Rammstein das gesagt" mich gefragt. Bedeutet das lied etwas andere von was ich denkte?

Ich kann jetzt nur für mich sprechen, ich persönlich habe nichts gegen Amerika und seine Bewohner generell. Ich habe ein Problem mit den Leuten die Amerika über alles stellen und die "alte Welt", Europa als minderwertig ansehen. Seien wir mal ehrlich, was wäre Amerika ohne seine Entdeckung durch Europa und die damit verbundenen Einwanderer? Zumindest nicht das was es heute ist.Auch das verhalten der Amerikanischen Regierung bzw. ihrer Politik ist recht fragwürdig. Vor allem, meiner Ansicht nach, ihre Sichtweise einer "Weltpolizei Amerika"...aus dem Grunde kann ich solche Leute nicht leiden. Kla diese Vorwürfe bzw. ansichten die Ich an manchen Amerikanner mache, können natürlich auch auf Europäer reflektiert werden. Aber schlagen wir doch mal einen Bogen...Einige Amerikaner sehen in den Deutschen immer noch die Nazis von vor über 60 Jahren, vergessen aber dabei das die Generationen nach dem 2. Weltkrieg nichts füe die Verbrechen ihrer Vorfahren können.
In English: I can only speak for me, I in general have nothing against America and its inhabitants. I have a problem with the some people in America more who think that America is better than the “old World”, Europe. Let’s be honest, what would America be, if it has not been discovered by Kolumbus and other men and therewith the European imigrands? At least not which today be. Also not to hold back it the American government With it’s politic is quite questionable. Above all, in my opinion, their aspect of a “World police of America”... For the reason I can not suffer such people .Of cause this reproaches and/or opinions which I at some American make, could also be reflected to Europe. But let’s an elbow... some Americans still see in Germans still the Nazis from more than 60 years ago. But they’ve forgotten that the generations after World War 2 could nothing do against the crimes there parents or grandparents did.

Hi, I don't know that Rammstein song, so I can't tell you about that.
I know a bunch of Americans through a yahoo group and they think and feel just like you. They can't believe what has become of their country. They are very intelligent people and very interested in all kinds of things. And I am often astonished how cosmopolitan they are.
So, yes, I know that not all Americans are the same and I do feel with you.
Ich bin jetzt Amerikanerin, aber ich war mal eine Deutsche. Leider gibt es auch in Deutschland Menschen, wie hier in der USA, die unseren Präsident hassen. Präsident Bush hatte den Mut etwas gegen diese Terroristen zu tun. Hat er Fehler gemacht? Ja. Sieht die Lage im Irak besser aus? Ja. Sind die Demokraten so weit links, dass sie es nicht zugeben wollen? Ja. Und diese Menschen gibt es eben auch in Deutschland. Der Amerikanische Militär ist wichtig für die ganze Welt. Amerika schützt die ganze Welt. Mein Mann war im Militär. Kein anderes Land tut so viel Gutes wie Amerika. Alles ist nicht besser hier, aber im GroÃen und Ganzen ist Amerika ein ganz tolles Land. Die Menschen sind sehr nett. Ich habe als ich herkam keine Probleme gehabt. Aber manche Menschen können sich eben nicht anpassen. Die Politiker sind nicht alle gleich. Wer hier Präsident wird, der muss sich ganz schön viel gefallen lassen. Und wenn er nicht gut ist, ist es eben nach 4 Jahren aus und ein anderer wird gewählt.
hey sweety guess what I've been livin in this funny country (germany) for such a long time now and i gotta tell you no matter what ppl say here at least 90% of all germans think we're mean, stupid, way too patriotic... you know what i mean.. so i dont thik it's the best idea to cry in fron tof everyone here and tell them we NEED their help cuz this is so not true, we're goin thru a tought time right now i agree but this is NO reson for you to make our country look like a tiny lil baby to the world. i understand you're desperate about keepn the american dream alive and stuff but it's not the right way to ask for help here, europe will not support us any more until our democracy'll be stronger again and till all our troops are home.
