my husband is in the military and he got picked to go to an uninhabited island for an undisclosed amount of time to fix a jet that is downed there. we cant communicate and i dont know when he'll be home and it really sucks being alone

how many flags do you think im gonna get? it was awesome and totally freakin rad. and did i mention awesome?!

we have two red claw scorpions and were wondering what is happening with the bigger one, isis. we are unsure as to why she is so...swollen. is she preparing to molt? the other scorpion, nepthys, seems to be getting the same spaces between her plates, but just smaller. and she is not as swollen. any advice or help is greatly appreciated (see pictures)

it only happens every now and again. its like a high pitched hum. i thought it was a belt or something, but my husband pushed down on the engine cover and the sound went away temporarily. so we tightened the bolts, but the engine (or whatever it could be) still hums every now and again. any idea what it could be, and what i should do?

i got rear-ended in a car accident, and the guy messed me up pretty bad. his insurance is willing to pay for my pain and suffering, but i dont know how much is a reasonable amount to ask for. i dont want to seem greedy, but im in pain constantly, and i cant sleep, or perform the duties necessary at work, or any of that stuff. i dont know if it matters, but im a girl, 20, first serious car accident, i was transported to the hospital, all that jazz...
