  • "Star Wars" bei der Wachablösung in Buckingham?

    Ich war kürzlich in London und als Touri muss man sich natürlich die Wachablösung am Buckingham Palace antun. War auch soweit ganz nett - bis dann Kapelle Nummer zwei anmarschierte. Und statt der "God Save The Queen" - wie man es hätte erwarten dürfen - erfreute man uns mit "Star Wars".

    Da drängte sich mir glatt die Frage auf a) wieso die moderne Musik spielen (wurde mir von Nebenstehenden erklärt) und b) wer eigentlich für die Liedauswahl zuständig ist (steht zur Beantwortung hier). Trifft der Kommandierende Offizier die Auswahl oder sitzt am Ende die Queen abends am Kamin und überlegt sich, wie sie ihre Landsleute am nächsten Morgen quälen kann?

  • Wie kann ich ein einzelnes Handy am Besten aus China nach Deutschland imprtieren?

    Ich hab vor kurzem im Internet gestöbert und dabei ein echt tolles Handy gefunden, das aber leider nur in China vekauft wird (laut Hersteller). Das Handy funktioniert aber auch in Europa (dank Quadband). (http://www.areamobile.de/news/6795.html, das E2862, für alle, die genaueres wissen wollen.) Es gibt auch eine Art "Reseller" in den USA, den ich aber bisher nicht erreicht habe. Kennt jemand einen Händler in China, der Handys auch nach Europa verschickt? Google spuckt dazu nichts aus. Oder gibt es sonst noch eine Möglichkeit, das Handy nach Europa zu holen? (Der Hersteller (e28 Limited) verkauft nicht selbst...)

  • USB Device Problem?

    Hi,

    when I try to connect my MP3-Player with my Computer, I get the message that a new USB Device was found and everything works fine - besides the Player is nor shown as local disk nor as USB device. I just tried to give him a disk drive letter - and it is not shown anyway. Well, I know that my PC recognises him cause he shows the "remove device" dialogue on the task bar - but I am unable to see him at "My Computer" or even to move data/music etc. onto.

    I own Windows XP Pro SP2, Player Software given.

    Can anyone please help me?

  • Windows XP Boot & Bluescreen???

    A friend of mine tried to boot his computer today - and received a bluescreen! Maybe there was a failure code but <1/10second on the screen.

    He owns legal Windows XP Pro Sp2 and has nothing else done than booting.

    Is this a new trick of Microsoft to earn more money or has his PC broken down?

    Please, only serious answers!

  • Who can tell me a cheaper flight...?

    We're a school class from Germany and we want to travel to Cape Town in South Africa next year.

    Our travel dates are: 26-July-2007 to 16-August-2007, we are 24 adult persons (from 17 years to 45(our teacher)).

    Our nearest airport is Basel Euroairport (EAP).

    I've found already a flight for 1'022,72€ with SAA and Lufthansa, but this is too much for pupils. Is there anybody who can tell me a cheaper flight?
