Man sieht es vielerorts, das Verkehrschild mit dem durchgestrichenen Reiter, meine Frage ist, wenn ich diesen Weg z.B. nutzen will um auf einen anderen Reitweg zu gelangen, darf ich mein Pferd dann dort führen, wie ich mein Fahrrad durch die z.B. Fußgängerzone schiebe, oder ist ein Pferd auf diesem Weg generell verboten?

Es wird immer wieder gesagt daß es in einer Pferdeherde eine Leitstute gibt. Stimmt das?

Imagine, You live since a few years in a foreign country like the Dominican Republic, You do your work, make your income, save some money for emergencies, all together you live a normal life.

Then, after three years, you go like usual on a sunday night to a fiesta, and when you come home you find out your house has been broke in to and everything you've possessed is gone! With everything I really mean everything, clothing, tools, part of the furniture and the worst of all a safe, built in to a block wall has been broke out of the wall and is gone too, including your passport, more necessary and important papers, all your savings (about 32k in pesos), laptop and other stuff you need for living here.

All you have left over is what you're wearing, a few hundred pesos left over from the fiesta and that's it.

Now what? Calling the police? Sure, and when they come the first question is for about 1500 pesos for coming out to where you live at. Then they write a report, and for further action is more money required.

And now it comes really good. With my last money I drove to Santo Domingo to ask the German Embassy for help, What I got to hear there just stunned me. Since I don't have relatives in Germany who would be able to help me with the money to get back to Germany there is nothing they can do for me, the only advice I've got was to get myself another job here illegaly to make some money and save until I have the fare to Germany, then they can write me a temporary passport and I can get back home. With an avarage wage of 260$ per month, deducted the money for renting a room and food... guess how long this might take.

I did not ask for a donation, I've checked the job situation in Germany very closely, There would be more then enough work for me as horse trainer and groom, and to pay back the amount of more ore less 700,00 Euros would be no problem at all - but to help one of their citizens with this sum is obviously too much for my home country. Now I'm stuck here, depending on the help of a Dominican family who took me in to their home, feed me even they're not the wealthiest as well and help me to get around here to look after myself.. this situation is not only embarassing, it's just humliating.

I feel left alone by my own country, I've never done anything wrong, my criminal record is as clean as a freshly bought role of toilet paper, I don't have any debts and all of my taxes I've had to pay are payed. What for? Just to be dropped like a hot potato because once in 53 years I need the help of my country.
