Why did the church allow Henry 8th to execute nun Elizabeth  barton, I thought the church carried the most power back then ?

Miscarried = aborted = killed by contraceptives = kids who are now burning in hell because they're not baptized; Theotokos Virgin Mary gave prayer to "Schema-nun Antonia" on how to save these babies (who were aborted, or miscarried, or killed contraceptives) from hell; basically, the prayer asks John the Baptist to baptize them and greatmartyr Barbara to give them body and blood of Jesus; if you pray this prayer diligently every day, then aborted babies are released from hell.

On each painted nail there are forty demons; painted nails = aborted kids in this family; these kids need to be rescued from hell. Contraceptives = abortion; using contraceptives for one year = five aborted kids.

Miscarriages happen because of high heels (as weight pushes down and baby falls out); cesarean happens because of pants as hips are too tight (second generation cesarean will be infertile).

Unbaptized aborted/miscarried/unborn babies burn in hell until Final Judgement; if pregnant, keep the kid and deliver at home because kids are chipped using IVs and vaccines in hospitals. Dentists and doctors chip patients secretly. Ultrasound leads to mark of the beast; don't do ultrasound, please. Abortion leads to breast cancer; a demon is released from hell for each aborted kid.

Aborted kids burn in hell. Stop being selfish. Deliver the kid at home because doctors chip kids in hospitals (usually in the forehead). Ultrasound is evil (baby's DNA is scraped from foot and sent to the BEAST Computer) because it makes the baby demon possessed. Basically, avoid doctors. Deliver at home.

Watch Henry the 8th on YT and you will see the kings advisors said he was KING so he should have the right to do what he wants or he will start another Church. Which he did The Church of England  Lizzy could not give him a male heir so he had to divorce her.(or execute works)

Henry VIIIth also executed eighteen Carthusian monks, the almost eighty year old Abbot of Glastonbury - who was dragged to the top and Glastonbury Tor to be hanged drawn and quartered, his old friend Thomas More, the sixty seven year old Countess of Salisbury, whose neck and shoulders were cut to pieces by an unskilful headsman - and other members of her family. And of course, ordinary people who defied him by standing by their religion.

The Pope did not represent a foreign power he represented the church.

And @Armourer you clearly don't know much about religion, so I really wouldn't talk about it if I were you. Henry VIII *was* a Catholic, just a very bad one.

The Church did not *allow* Henry VIII to execute Elizabeth Barton, any more than it "allowed" Henry to execute Bishop / Cardinal John Fisher. The Pope could do nothing to stop him.

Both religious persons were found guilty of treason. Fisher denied the King his new title of Supreme Head of the Church of England.  Barton predicted that the King would be dethroned and die six months after his marriage to Anne Boleyn.

No, it didn't have the most power.  Not in England.  It did however own a lot of the money in the country, and owed allegiance to a foreign power - the Pope.

Henry VIII was more powerful than even Cardinal Wolsey (who couldn't manage to save himself) and by the time Barton was executed was well on the way to becoming  the Supreme Governor of the Church of England. Barton had confessed to treason and there was not much chance of coming back from that, the wonder is that she lasted so long (she outlasted Wolsey) but she had been a popular figure.
