Why are the Republicans so keen to suppress the vote? Are not fair and free elections what distinguish us from dictatorships and Communism?

Traditionally, they have a canned set of excuses they use, such as so-called voter fraud, but part of Trump's legacy within the GOP is to make them think they can be open about their real reasons and "get away with it."  So in recent, months they've publically admitted that reason themselves a number of times, most recently before the Supreme Court--they're convinced that's the only way they can win elections.

Because people who are not allowed to vote should not vote.

Is that such a difficult concept?

They can't win elections without it. They call fair and free elections "voter fraud".

They're used to getting away with it.  They've shared power with the Dems for over a century.

They are finished if they dont do this. But God will stop them.
